Place the cut-out pieces in a bowl and beat together with an electric mixer.

Add the egg and mix on low speed until combined.

Transfer the batter into the prepared baking tray.

Pour a little bit of almond milk over the batter and mix until combined well.

Place two slices of cake on the prepared tray and brush with the remaining coconut milk.

Place one cake on top and brush the cake with the rest of the coconut milk mixture.

Brush the cake evenly with the coconut butter mixture.

Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove and let the cake cool completely.

Recipe Notes: For the Coconut Milk: Coconut milk is a rich, sweet, coconut milk that can be made by hand or by mixing together coconut cream, butter, milk, eggs and coconut.

The milk can also be made with yogurt, coconut, coconut sugar, vanilla and vanilla extract.

For the Vanilla Extract: Vanilla extract can be purchased in health food stores or can be found in health foods stores online.

Make the coconut cream and the coconut oil by combining coconut cream with almond milk.

For additional sweetener, use an equal amount of sweetener of equal volume.

For extra sweetness, use the same amount of sugar and vanilla as the coconut liquid.
